| June 28 | (DUO) Carnegie Library, Capital Campaign Kick-off - afternoon. 1907-1914 Attire. "Open House" at the old library begins at noon and runs to 5pm in Snohomish, WA. To carpool: Lady Victoria. |

| July 3-7 | (DUO) Tall Ships - Tacoma, WA. The Tall Ships arrive in the harbor on July 3rd and stay for tours and celebrations along the quay. | July 19** | (DUO) "HiYu" Parade/Festival - West Seattle. 1920's, 1930's and ??? Attire. The parade was started in 1932. Lady Victoria and Sir Harry of Essex are registering a "float" to participate this Summer. It will probably be a vintage pick-up, but we hope that a few members who wouldn't otherwise be able to walk in the parade could at least "ride" on the bed of the sign-written truck. | August 21 | (DUO) "Evergreen State Fairgrounds" - Monroe, WA. "Centennial Grand Opening" of the annual event. 1908 Attire THIS DAY ONLY! Every subsequent day if you choose to go, will be the next decade: 1920, 1930, 1940, etc. Actual time of day for the opening/participation on 8/21 is yet to be determined by event organizers. | October 26 | (UCE) "Channeling Ezra & Eliza Jane" @ the Meeker Mansion, Puyallup, WA 1pm-5pm. 1880's thru 1890's Attire ideally. Darker Autumn days are settling in upon us. What an ideal time of year to hold a "Tea" and murder mystery all while "channeling" the spirits of Ezra & Eliza Jane Meeker, the original owner of this historic mansion. (UCE) "Farmhouse Christmas Tea and Holiday Sing-along" @ the Neely Mansion, Auburn, WA. 1880's - 1910ish Attire. The SITU Holiday Teas are always a HOT Event and we believe tickets to this will also sell out quickly. The mansion is going to limit us to 30 occupants in this stately 1894 home in the valley. Even the Docents dress up in costume and join in the spirit and fun. If you want to attend, you will want to be SURE to purchase advance tickets. The event will be totally affordable and since several people will be carpooling, we'll be able to set up connections to this fun and festive holiday celebration! Contact Lady Victoria. |
